It’s hard to believe this was designed back in 1952—the organic, sculptural shape feels so modern above my dining table. The light it casts is soft and diffuse, making the whole room feel warmer, and the craftsmanship on the saucer profile is flawless.
The sculptural form looks almost like a piece of art when it's off, and the organic curves really soften the room's corners. It took a bit of patience to get the hanging height just right, but the even, diffused light it throws across our dining table has been worth the fiddling.
