The ceramic body has a nice weight to it and the metal accents look way more expensive than what I paid. Took me maybe 20 minutes to install in the hallway, and the light it throws is warm without being dim.

The metal rim has a slight brushed texture that catches the light nicely in our hallway. Installation took my husband about an hour, and it sits close enough to the ceiling that it doesn't crowd the space.
