I keep this little lamp on my desk and tilt the shade toward the wall at night, which throws a soft glow across the whole room. The LED is brighter than I expected for something this tiny.
The tiltable shade is what sold me, since I can angle the light right at the wall for a soft wash instead of a harsh spot. Only wish the LED were dimmable, because it's pretty bright for a bedside table. Still, it's become the coziest corner of my apartment.
Bought this for my nightstand and the size is perfect, though the LED is brighter than I expected for a lamp this small. Tilting the shade toward the wall softens it into a really warm glow.
