The frosted finish really softens the light, no harsh glare on the kitchen table anymore. Color is a warm, cozy white that's easy on the eyes at night.
Swapped these into the dining room fixture and the 3000K warmth is exactly what I wanted, no harsh blue tint at all. The frosted finish spreads the light evenly so you don't get that glare staring back at you across the table.
I wasn't expecting much from a basic bulb, but the frosted finish really does soften the light into that comfortable, welcoming glow described. The subtle collar detail at the base gives it a more polished look than a standard A19, even when the fixture is off.
