Swapped out a dated builder-grade fixture for this one and the cast knobs give it way more character than I expected. The semi-flushmount sits close to the ceiling so it works great in our low hallway, and the steel has a nice weight to it.
Installed this over our kitchen sink and the mid-century look fits the space way better than I expected. The steel finish has held up fine so far and it doesn't hang down low enough to block the window. Only took me about half an hour to swap out the old one.
The cast knobs on this fixture are a nice touch, they catch the light without looking fussy. Installed it in the hallway and the steel has a good weight to it, doesn't feel cheap at all.
