Bought this for my bedside table and the light is surprisingly warm for a desk lamp — no harsh glare when I'm reading at night. The marble base keeps it from sliding around, though it does take up a bit of space.
The marble base is heavier than I expected, so it stays put even when I bump the desk. It throws a nice warm pool of light for late-night reading without glaring in my eyes.
I've been hunting for something that wouldn't look cheap on my nightstand, and the thick rounded marble base on this one genuinely feels like a piece from a hotel. It throws a nice warm pool of light for reading, and it's small enough that it doesn't swallow the whole table.
