I can adjust this thing with one finger and the head never droops, which is way better than my old lamp that needed two hands and still sagged. The chrome finish picks up fingerprints a bit, but a quick wipe fixes it.
The counterweight design makes this thing glide into place with barely a touch, and the arm stays exactly where I leave it. The neck joint holding the head tilt while the arm swings is a small detail that makes a huge difference when I'm reading. Genuinely the nicest lamp I've owned.
The counterweight makes it glide up and down with barely any effort, which I didn't expect from a desk lamp. Only gripe is the chrome finish shows every fingerprint. Still, it holds its position perfectly when I swing the arm around.
