Swapped out the dated fixture in our guest bath for this and the steel wall plate sits perfectly flush against the tile. The light it throws is warm without being yellow, which makes the mirror actually usable at night. Install took maybe twenty minutes with the existing wiring.

The cast brass shade holders have a nice weight to them and the steel plate sits perfectly flush against our tile. I swapped out our old builder-grade fixture for this and the difference in light quality is honestly night and day.

Installed two of these over our double vanity and the rectangular backplate sits flush against the tile, which looks way cleaner than the old round fixtures. The steel and brass combo feels solid, not flimsy like the cheap ones I've handled at big box stores.
