The Curven Linear Suspension from Minka-Lavery introduces a sense of graceful movement overhead with a gently undulating steel crossbar held aloft by slim suspension cables. Slim cables support this flowing framework, which cradles a series of etched glass globes that diffuse light into a calm, inviting glow. The airy metalwork lends an organic touch without overwhelming the room. At the same time, durable steel construction provides a dependable structure, making it well-suited to expansive dining areas and open-concept living spaces.

The undulating crossbar makes my dining room feel like it's floating, and the slim cables almost disappear against the ceiling. Installation was straightforward and the steel has a nice heft without looking heavy.

I swapped out a bulky box fixture for this linear suspension and the room instantly feels taller. The slim cables make it look almost weightless, and the steel crossbar has a nice soft sheen in daylight. Installation took my electrician about an hour, straightforward.

The undulating curve of the crossbar catches the light differently from every seat at the table, which is exactly the movement I was hoping for. Installation was straightforward with the slim cables, and the whole fixture feels airy yet solid once it's up.
