The Orchid Chandelier from Metropolitan Lighting builds a wide, layered canopy of handmade glass leaves that spread outward and downward from a central armature, creating a full, bloom-like density. The frosted glass scatters ambient light evenly across the entire form, so the fixture reads as a single illuminated mass rather than a collection of parts. Small branching metalwork and fittings are just visible beneath the glass, offering a quiet structural detail within an otherwise organic composition. A dimmable design gives full control over how the fixture performs.

The way the layered leaves fan outward from the center is just stunning—it really does bloom like an orchid when lit, and the handmade glass has that soft, uneven texture you can't fake. It took a bit to assemble all those pieces, but the fullness of the canopy makes it worth every minute.

The handmade glass leaves catch the light in a way that changes the whole mood of the dining room, and the way they fan out from the center really does feel like a blooming flower. Installation took a bit of patience, but the finished look is absolutely worth it.
