The dimmer is buttery smooth, gliding from a soft glow to full brightness without any flicker. I use it daily for late-night reading and the light stays perfectly even across my desk. It’s compact but feels solidly built, exactly what I hoped for in a smaller task lamp.
I was worried a scaled-down lamp would feel flimsy, but the aluminum arm and base have that same solid, precise counterbalance as the full-size version. The LED light is beautifully even across my desk, and the dimmer lets me drop it to a warm glow for late-night reading without any flicker.
The dimmer is the star here—it glides smoothly from a soft glow to a sharp, focused beam without any flicker. It’s compact enough for my desk corner, yet the adjustable arm still reaches exactly where I need it. Honestly, this little thing has made my late-night reading feel luxurious.
