Umbra Dome Halvinnbyggd taklampa

The dome shape gives our low hallway ceiling way more presence than the old flat fixture, and it still tucks up close enough that tall guests don't bump it. Light spreads evenly with no harsh hotspot underneath.

Swapped out a flat flushmount for this and the difference is honestly noticeable the second you walk in. The enclosed dome throws light down in a softer pool instead of that harsh glare I used to get. Installation was straightforward too, maybe 30 minutes with the breaker off.

The semi-flushmount sits closer to the ceiling than a pendant, which is what I wanted for our 8-foot bedroom. But the dome shade isn't as translucent as it looked in the photos, so the light pools more than it spreads. It's fine, just not the soft glow I was picturing.
