I was a little nervous about the size when it arrived, but the modern silhouette fits perfectly on my nightstand. The rechargeable battery is super convenient since there's no ugly cord to hide, and the light itself is bright enough for reading but still feels warm and cozy.
The battery actually lasts through a full evening of reading without me having to hunt for an outlet, which is exactly what I needed for my nightstand. The modern finish looks way more expensive than it was, and the touch control is responsive without being finicky.
I was a little worried the touch controls would be finicky, but they respond instantly, and the light itself throws a warm, even glow that's perfect for reading in bed. The rechargeable battery lasted me three full evenings before I needed to plug it back in, which is way better than I expected.
