I hung this over my kitchen island and the light it gives off is surprisingly warm, not harsh at all. The fluting in the glass makes the brightness shift as you move around the room, which I didn't expect from a pendant.
The fluted opal glass throws such a soft, layered glow over the kitchen island — nothing harsh, just a nice even wash. Installation took my husband maybe half an hour. Genuinely prettier in person than the listing photos.
Swapped out our old dining room fixture for three of these and the fluted opal glass throws such a soft, even glow. You can see how the ridges break up the light density when they're on. Installation was fiddly with the tiny screws though.
