The Spanish alabaster glows so evenly that it doesn't look like a light fixture at all, more like a floating strip of stone. Installation took my electrician about an hour, and the aluminum frame is thin enough that it basically disappears against the ceiling.
Hung it over our kitchen island and the alabaster glows warm without any glare hitting the countertop. The aluminum frame is so slim it basically disappears against the ceiling, which is exactly what I wanted.
The way the light diffuses through the alabaster is genuinely calming—it’s soft without being dim, and the floating aluminum frame looks far more delicate in person than in photos. I’ve had mine up for a week and keep catching myself just staring at it from across the room.
