The Margaret Howell colorway is what sold me — that muted mustard fits my desk way better than the usual bright primary options. The springs hold the arm exactly where I set it, no slow drooping over a long work session.
The tension on the arm is perfect for holding a reading position without drifting, and I've been using it every night over my book. The soft off-white finish blends in better than I expected for something so colorful in photos.
The matte finish on this lamp is gorgeous and the 1970s shape looks great on my desk without feeling retro in a bad way. The tension springs are easy to adjust, so I can pull the light right over my keyboard for late-night work.
