The Japanese Tray Table from Kristina Dam Studio builds upon traditional Japanese incense box design principles with raised perimeter walls that contain objects within the surface area. Handcrafted oiled oak construction highlights the material's natural characteristics through meticulous finishing techniques, and the tray format enables the piece to serve multiple functions while preserving its essential box-like form. The storage capacity within the raised walls accommodates various objects, while the wooden construction provides durability through the use of solid materials.
